3. Accounts
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials.
- Users must provide accurate information and keep it reasonably up to date.
- Users are responsible for activity that occurs under their account.
4. Google Sign-In and Third-Party Services
Users may choose to sign in through Google or interact with third-party services connected to Tagalong. Use of those services may also be subject to the third party’s own terms and policies.
5. User Content
Users may create profiles, adventures, itineraries, images, and messages. By submitting content to Tagalong, users represent that they have the necessary rights to share that content and grant Tagalong a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, host, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and improving the service.
6. Platform Role
Tagalong is a platform that helps connect users around adventures and shared experiences. Tagalong does not organise, supervise, control, or guarantee the quality, legality, or safety of adventures created by users.
7. Prohibited Conduct
- Harassing, threatening, or harming other users.
- Posting false, deceptive, unlawful, or infringing content.
- Using the service for unlawful activity.
- Attempting to interfere with the security, integrity, or operation of the platform.
8. Safety and Assumption of Risk
Trips and in-person activities can involve risk, including injury, illness, property damage, or worse. Users voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in adventures arranged through Tagalong and are responsible for making their own decisions about safety, suitability, and preparedness.
9. No Background Checks or Guarantees
Tagalong does not guarantee the identity, intent, truthfulness, or conduct of any user and does not promise that experiences listed on the app will be safe, accurate, available, or suitable.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tagalong and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising out of user interactions, participation in adventures, or use of the service.
11. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold Tagalong harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of their content, conduct, misuse of the platform, or violation of these Terms.
12. Suspension and Termination
Tagalong may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the platform at any time where appropriate, including for violations of these Terms or conduct that may create risk for the service or its users.
13. Changes to the Service or Terms
Tagalong may modify the service and may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
